What is your…..

favorite Cancun nightclub and why is it your favorite?

Please tell us! We are very curious bunch and want to know!

Ok, I’ll start. My favorite nightclub is Dady Rock. It is small, compared to other Cancun nightclubs, but I think that is why I like it. It usually has a good-sized crowd and it is always fun. Actually, I have been in Dady Rock on one of their VERY slow nights (less than 50 guests) and still had the time of my life. The service is outstanding and the staff does their best to make sure each guest is having a great time. The house band, Soapbox, is fantastic! I only wish they’d learn my favorite Pearl Jam song. :-(

Now, it’s YOUR turn! What’s your favorite club and why??

It’s a Beautiful Day in Paradise!

I am pleased to report that the sun is shining, a gentle breeze is blowing, there isn’t a cloud in the sky, and there are plenty of tourists in Cancun! Sadly, I’m indoors…..working.

Everyday, I get emails from people that are skeptical about making reservations for a trip to Cancun. I faithfully answer their emails, but wold like to publicly say that Cancun is just fine and you will not notice the effects of hurricane Wilma…unless your favorite hotel happens to be one of the hotels still closed for remodeling.

At sunrise, on the morning the hurricane was done ravaging the area, the people of Cancun began cleaning the city…trying to get it back on it’s feet. You could see progress being made each day. Now, only 5 months later, Cancun is nearly perfect. :-) Come down and enjoy the paradise I am lucky enough to call ‘home’!

Thank you!

Lately, I have been missing in action and I must give Tim a huge “THANK YOU” for picking up the slack. I enjoyed reading the story of his first visit to Cancun! Thanks again to Tom for also sharing his story with us! I’m looking forward to the next installment from both of the guys. :-)

Well, I have lots of questions, but will start with….What tours are the best to go on? We were looking at Chichen-Itza one day and Xel Ha another. Maybe some shopping one day, of course we are going to do the night life almost everynight, just don’t know where. ANy suggestions? We will be there from May 6th to May 13th. PLease help us “Rookies” have a little fun. We are staying at the Omni.
