Don Julio was the winner that year. It was a foo foo ceremony believe me!! Besides Don Julio and his familia, the Mayor was there, the Governor, and I don't know who all was there! Definitely the cream of 'Society'. Kent and I even got our picture taken and it was printed in the Miami Herald Cancun edition!! Funny thing was, I'm not much for any of the hard liquors. We ended up sitting with the Coral Beach's Food & Banquet Director and the Hotel's Chef. At one point, I said, I'd Really like a beer and the Chef went and got some of his private stock of Heineken for us!! :D Definitely a memory worth saving!
