Cancun Airport Transfers

CancunMX.com and CancunAndRivieraMaya.com are pleased to announce their arrangement with USA Transfers of Cancun Mexico to provide travelers with affordable private one way and round trip transfers between the Cancun Airport and Hotels in the Cancun area. Rates start at $35 for 1 to 3 people.

The Cancun airport can be a zoo! All small companies must park their vehicles in the ‘jungle’, a 10 minute RUN from where you will come out. Drivers ‘greet’ you, holding a sign with your name. Once they have you, they run (maybe) to get their vehicle. Then, they have to drive back and get you. During that 15 minute wait, you will be bugged 1,000 times if you need a ride.

With USA Transfers: they have hired staff to greet you. No other small company does this! Once they find you, they call the driver while staying with you.

They provide you with a toll-free number if for any reason you can not find our staff at the airport. Check out how many others provide this.

Nine out of ten companies offering transfers for Cancun on the internet hire companies like USA Transfers. All they do is earn a commission and you deal with a middle man.

You pay their driver directly. Approximately 70% of the total on arrival and 30% on the day you depart. NO ONE allows you to pay anything on departure.

Look for USA TRANSFER staff at the airport holding a sign with your name.

They can first take you to Wal-Mart before going to your hotel. Price is an extra $30 and takes about 90 extra minutes. Must be booked ahead of time.

You can get a shared ride at the airport for $12 US per person for the airport shared shuttle vans (they pack as many passengers as they can fit and go to an average of 5 Cancun hotels) and to return to the airport the average taxi runs $20 US. USA Transfers DO NOT OFFER SHARED RIDES. Private only.

Prices include all taxes but do not include a tip to the driver.

For those of you staying on Isla Mujeres, the same prices apply for transfers to/from Gran Puerto. Puerto Juarez is just a few dollars more.

Swim with Whale Sharks Cancun

The whale shark is the largest shark and the largest fish…strange you say??? not really, because the Whale Shark, is in fact, NOT a whale. With a mouth that can be up to 4 feet wide, the whale shark is a filter feeder and sieves enormous amounts of plankton, krill, small fish, and squid to eat through its gills as it swims. It can process over 1500 gallons (6000 liters) of water each hour.

Whale sharks are harmless to people and ususally indifferent to divers.

Included:

Light snack
Shark Swim
Snorkel tour to Isla Che Reef (equipment included)
Open Bar (domestic drinks on your way back)
Reef Tax included

Each tour only takes 10 people. 30-45 minute boat ride to where the Whale Sharks are located.
