The new Delphinus Trek program gives you the opportunity to experience dolphins in their most natural state…..swimming underwater. Normal swim with dolphin programs allow you one-on-one interaction with dolphins while they are partially out of the water. It’s truly an amazing experience in itself, but Delphinus has now taken it one step further.

Participants in the Delphinus Trek program are fully submerged in water while dolphins swim around them. In order to breathe underwater, a large helmet-like contraption is worn by each guest. As you may have guessed, this post has absolutely nothing to do with Cancun. I simply wish to remind all of our American readers, regardless of which candidate/party you support, to get out and VOTE on Tuesday, November 4th!

Since I am here in Cancun, I voted by absentee ballot several weeks ago. Even though I filled out my ballot alone at the U.S. Consular office, it was still exciting. Unlike previous years, this time I felt like I was part of something very special when I cast my vote. It’s definitely a historical election and probably the most important one any of us will experience in our lifetime. Do your part and get out and VOTE!
