Tim has been traveling to Cancun since 1991. His first visit to Cancun was okay. This was just before and during Desert Storm. Because of Travel Warnings, not many people were in Cancun. Because of a goof on the part of Apple Vacations, the Hotel Tim and his family had stayed at (Fiesta Americana Coral Beach) offered them 4 nights free for a second visit. Going through the hotel doors at the beginning of their second visit, he and his family felt like they were home. His passion for Cancun developed further upon finding, and participating on, Cancun Chatboards. When his favorite Board suffered from a change of ownership and became unavailable, he started his own. In his spare time when in Cancun, Tim continues his search for the Mythical Mayan Volleyball Playera Ruins.

Susan Vincil is a freelance photographer and has been living in Cancun since August 2003. She grew up in Virginia and moved to Cancun after spending 9 years in Denver, Colorado. Susan began working in the travel/hospitality industry in the Summer of 1990 and decided to become a travel agent a few years later. She worked as a travel agent for over 10 years.

Susan began her love affair with Mexico when she visited Puerto Vallarta in 1995. Susan didn’t visit Cancun until May 2001, but it was love at first sight. After graduating from the Art Institute of Colorado in 2003, Susan packed her camera bags and moved to Cancun. There, she is happily living her version of The American Dream.
